This year, our curriculum is heavily shaped by direct feedback from practicing clinicians. We are seeking expert speakers to deliver practical, evidence-based, and clinically applicable insights.
High-priority topics for 2027
- Nutrition prescriptions alongside obesity management medications
- Long-term post-metabolic bariatric surgery care
- Managing complex comorbidities (MASLD/MASH, obstructive sleep apnea, cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome, sarcopenia)
- Navigating insurance barriers
- Specialized patient needs — elderly obesity management, deconditioning, and eating disorders
- Comprehensive longitudinal obesity care and managing plateaus and other barriers.
