About the symposium
A full day of CME for Minnesota's obesity care community
The Minnesota Obesity Society Symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry partners working in obesity and metabolic disease. The 2027 program covers genetic obesity and food noise, eating disorders, nutrition for patients on GLP-1s, long-term care after bariatric surgery, legal accountability, how to talk with children and families about food and body image, and male insulin resistance.
CME is provided to attendees by the Obesity Medicine Association. The exhibit hall sits in the Atrium, distinctly separated from the live CME session room, and opens for breakfast, both breaks, and lunch. Attendees come through with time to look at displays, ask questions, and talk with exhibitors.
